The Charter Gallery is Bakers Hall’s reception area, named for the Company’s charter of 1568, which is proudly displayed outside the Livery Hall. This charter is just one of the artefacts on show in this remarkable space, each of which tells a story of the Company’s nearly nine hundred-year history. The phoenix decorations evoke the current hall’s rising from the ashes of its predecessor, which was destroyed by the Luftwaffe on 29th December 1940.
The Charter Gallery is a perfect space for drink- and canapé receptions prior to your event, as well as a breakout space for coffee and refreshments during all-day events. Use of the Charter Gallery is included in the hire of either of our main function rooms, subject to availability. Alternatively it can be hired on its own as a reception space.
