Bakers’ Hall is the home of the Worshipful Company of Bakers, which has promoted and protected the Baking trade in London and the UK since 1155. A Bakers’ Hall has stood on our current site on Harp Lane since 1506. The current hall was built following the destruction of its predecessor during the Blitz. The hall continues to be used extensively for the business of the Bakers’ Company, and hosts their dinners, receptions and meetings of the Bakers’ Court. We also host other Liveries’ events, and are at the heart of life in the City of London.

As a setting, Bakers’ Hall combines the best of stylish mid-20th Century design with over eight centuries of history, embodied in the many artefacts on display and the layout of the Livery Hall and Court Room. We are a perfect venue for mid-size dining and conferences, able to accommodate up to 98 for dinner and 100 in a presentation-style format. We also host other kinds of events, as varied as product launches, parties, and wedding receptions.
